Brooklyn Community Foundation mourns the passing of our friend and colleague John Wright.

John was a proud Brooklynite, immigrant, father, and nonprofit champion. He served on the Foundation's Board from 2015-2020 and was a critical voice in steering our growth while deepening our commitments to racial justice and community-led change.

His passing is an immeasurable loss, and we extend our deepest condolences to his family, friends, and colleagues.
